It simply takes a man with a vision and co-workers willing to make that vision happen without clogging it up with their own opinions. Branching off from writing screenplays for HBO’s Soprano’s, Matthew Weiner definitely learnt something out of the experience. Which was to create a serious environment that emulates beauty, emotion and meaning. The moments we feel for the characters while music plays either melancholic or serious drags you deeper into the mad world of Mad Men. It’s style visually, artistically and fashion wise creates a creative yet simple setting that keeps you wanting more.
